Dans le cadre d’une collaboration entre le laboratoire de Chimie des protéines (ISIS Strasbourg) et le groupe de RMN de l’IGBMC, nous proposons le stage post-doctoral ci-dessous :

Open Postdoc position

LABORATORY OF PROTEIN CHEMISTRY,
INSTITUTE FOR SUPRAMOLECULAR SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (ISIS), UNIVERSITY OF STRASBOURG, FRANCE

ABOUT US Our team specializing in protein chemistry focuses on applications of protein design, total chemical synthesis of proteins and biophysics to solving challenging biological problems (https://torbeevlab.com). The position is in collaboration with Prof. Bruno Kieffer at IGBMC institute (http://www.igbmc.fr/research/depart...) specializing in biomolecular NMR spectroscopy.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A skilled postdoctoral candidate with strong interest in protein chemistry and biophysics. The project will be to perform structure-function studies of intrinsically disordered proteins applying NMR methods. The proteins of interest are involved in gene transcription and we aim at developing new inhibitors of protein-protein interactions important for new cancer therapeutics.

REQUIREMENTS • Strong experience in NMR spectroscopy of proteins

• Ability to perform and interpret the results of biophysical experiments
(e.g. CD, fluorescent spectroscopy, analytical ultracentrifugation)

• Experience in chemical synthesis is a plus

• The ability to plan and execute experimental work without close supervision

• The ability to work as a team

HOW TO APPLY

Qualified applicants should submit an application by email, including a letter outlining research interests, the CV, and the contact information of three referees to Dr. Vladimir Torbeev (torbeev@unistra.fr)
